Add an attribute "Price" where user will input price of the part.
If the part has children parts and if all children have a price then the displayed price is the sum of all individual prices*quantities.

I think it's a bad idea:

  • adding an attribute price is not sufficient, there should be another attribute: the currency
  • if there is a currency, the computation of the price of an assembly depends on current exchanges rates
  • the price may evolve even if the part is official
  • the price depends on the number of produced units
  • a PLM is not an ERP...

I understand your remarks.
I'd suggest to set currency when we initiate openPLM. Once it's set (to euro, dollar, ...), no way to modify it after. Up to users to convert some prices if necessary.

just curious, for OpenPLM-v2, are there any attributes 'cost', 'price' or 'currency' for a 'Part'?
