I am working on academic project. I have installed OpenPLM VM. How can get access to OS console in the VM? If not, how can I access postgress DB from the host OS? What is the username/password for the database on the VM?

Even the DB, you can't access it.

I advise you to create your own Ubuntu or Debian server in VirtualBox and follow the How-to to install it :  http://wiki.openplm.org/docs/2.0/en/admin/how-tos.html
